As a Producer

I’ve been working as a producer since 2013, which is when I came on board Beyond Clueless, a feature length essay collage film by Charlie Shackleton (formerly Lyne).

In 2014, together with Charlie, and Anthony Ing, I founded Loop, a small independent production company. Our latest piece is the experimental documentary collage Jill, Uncredited, which played Competition at Berlin 2023 and can now be watched on MUBI.

Our work together has played at festivals including Berlin, Sundance, SXSW, London, Rotterdam, Hotdocs and True/False, has won awards including a Grierson, BIFA, Best Short at the BFI London Film Festival, Best Immersive Art at BFI London Film Festival, and has screened on BBC Two, BBC Four, Channel 4, Netflix, MUBI and BBC iPlayer.

We also launched the Loop Fund, making three small no-strings-attached grants of £5000 available to filmmakers who pitched us projects we felt might not find funding via traditional routes.

Charlie Shackleton’s feature The Afterlight toured the UK and beyond, after world premiering at the BFI London Film Festival in 2021. John Ogunmuyiwa’s short Precious Hair & Beauty played Sundance 2022, and VR project As Mine Exactly has recently played a residency at the Museum of the Moving Image in New York and won Best Immersive Art at the BFI London Film Festival. Jill, Uncredited will play in Competition in Berlin in 2023.

We are currently in development and pre-production on three features.
